Setup Guide

Folder Setup

Copy your BIOS files to the "bios" folder inside the PCSX-R folder you just extracted

Copy your games to an appropriate folder

Unzip the plugin zip file

Locate the "nuvee_ps1_pad guncon1"

Go into that folder and then into the "bin" folder

Inside you will find a file called "nuvee_psx_pad.dll"

Copy this file to the "plugins" folder inside your PCSXR folder

Load the PCSX-R executable file to load the emulator, if loading for the first time the Configuration window will appear

  • select "Guncon" from the dropdown next to "Port 1"
  • Enable "Snap mouse to window"

Change the dropdown box underneath Alignment to the game you wish to play e.g. Point Blank 1

Check the following settings match:

  • "Reload" has "Manual" in the dropdown box
  • "Cursor" is set to "Hidden"
  • "Model" should be set to "Namco N/A"

  • "Right" should be set to "A"
  • "Middle" should be "B"

Next make sure the gun is plugged in, the software is running and the border is enabled.

Press the "Acquire" button and a little instruction box will pop up,

press "OK".
