PLEASE NOTE: This option for borders is experimental. If you use this option and find any issues let us know in the Sinden Lightgun discord server.

Riva Tuner Statistics Server (RTSS) is a piece of software used by other apps (for example MSI Afterburner) to display game information like FPS, GPU and CPU usage and temperatures, etc, on top of the game window.

We can also use it to display borders for the Sinden Lightgun, and this solution works with 99% of games and emulators just by having RTSS running in the background.

Prerequisites

If you have MSI Afterburner and you use it currently to show FPS/GPU usage/etc, you need to disable all the "Show in On-screen Display" toggles in the Monitoring tab of the settings.

How to use RTSS for Sinden Borders

  1. Download Rivatuner Statistics Server 7.3.3 Final form Guru3D.

  2. Unzip and install ( If the installation says Server is currently active, you already have RTSS).
  3. Download the RTSS overlay pack (beta).
  4. Extract the Overlay pack. You will see a few PNG and OVL files.
  5. Open the Overlays folder. The default path is: C:\Program File (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server\Plugins\Client\Overlays .
  6. Copy the RTSS Overlay pack PNG and OVL files here. You will need Administrator rights to copy files to this folder..
  7. Start Rivatuner Statistics Server from the Windows Start Menu.
